Pastor Michael was born in Denver, Colorado in 1975 and Pastor Mariesha was born in Richmond, California in 1971. They were married on February 12, 2010 in Bakersfield, California. They have 2 children Dominick and Desiree along with 4 grandchildren, Harmony, Alejandro, Rafael, and Selena. They have both been in ministry with a combined total of 22 years. The various ministries they have both been a part of are:

Homeless Ministry– Pastor Mariesha served in the tenderloins in San Francisco in the late hours with a ministry team. Pastor Michael ministered weekly in the Homeless Shelter in Bakersfield, California. Mariesha has helped house more than 38 people in a 10 year span which includes families, single parents with children, and homeless.

Prison Ministry-Both Pastor Michael and Mariesha ministered to 40 to 50 male prisoners at the Valley Prison in Chowchilla, California.

Youth Ministry- Both Pastor Michael and Mariesha were youth pastors at Higher Ground Church in Bakersfield, California. Youth pastors at Community Discipleship Church in Bakersfield, California.

Worship Ministry- Both Pastor Michael and Mariesha were part of a hula worship ministry that went to various churches and events in Central California as well as Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California.

Small Group Ministry-Both Pastor Michael and Mariesha hosted home group bible studies in their home to get a deeper relationship with the Lord as an individual as well as a group of believers.

Intercessory Prayer Ministry-Leaders for Prayer Ministry at CDC as well as corporate prayer at Home Church.

Women’s Ministry-Pastor Mariesha has spoken at several Women’s Conferences and breakfasts from Bakersfield to Pismo to Los Banos/Dos Palos, California. She has also led small group bible studies and one on one counseling.

Men’s Ministry-Pastor Michael has preached at several Men’s Breakfasts and Retreats from Bakersfield to Dos Palos, California, He has also done one on one counseling with men.

Associate Pastors- Both Pastor Michael and Mariesha have co pastored at CDC Church in Bakersfield as well as Abba Father Ministries Church in Bakersfield, California,

Counseling- Both Pastor Michael and Mariesha have counseled married couples, singles, and children. Certified in Drug and Alcohol Counseling.

Evangelism-Both Pastor Michael and Mariesha have done several outreaches for different communities in Central CA with Tag Team 4 Christ Ministries, City Gate Ministries, Valley Christian, and Kern County Foodbank.
